2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for my blog – the link below will take you to it…

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 6,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 11 years to get that many views.

  1. Michael Telfer says:

Nice work Dave, and keep it going for 2013. Seeing you clock up the miles is usually timely incentive for me to get the trainers on…
As much as I enjoy the blog though, I probably wouldn’t climb Everest to log in. Do they even have the facilities at the summit?

  2. Reckon the reception might be pretty good – no pesky buildings in the way?

Got a few things planned for 2013 – one tomorrow for a bit of fun, The Wall in June to try some serious distance and then Plan X in August (that’d be a secret for now). Hoping to clock 1,000 miles in 2013 – will keep track… đŸ™‚

Tempt you to the North Tyneside 10k Telfer? It’s a nice ol’ run to the lighthouse, much more picturesque that the GNR… Easter Sunday, back home in time for dinner and chocolates…
